To Haowei's blog, The Strike of Capitol Metro, my response was:
With hundreds of Austin residence relying solely on the public transportation system, it’s hard to see how employees and managers alike could allow a strike to happen. I agree with you when you say “It’s hard to have an opinion on who was right and who was wrong”. I don’t know what the full extent of the drivers demands were, but they did settle without all being met so I must give them respect for realizing and giving in to help a community that truly relies on their service.
